He would have been 43 today
Another difficult Feb.13th. Each year I struggle with how to feel and what to do. Miles separate me from my folks and my sister but we all talk as if we’re together and embraced in a group hug. The loss our family suffered years ago has made us stronger. My brother Andrew would have been 43 today. I’d like to think he and I would’ve been like best friends sitting together...

Remembering the Challenger
I was in my high school Geography class when my teacher was called out of the room. He returned with a TV from the A/V lab and quietly said “The space shuttle is gone” as he hooked it up. Our class fell silent as we watched the tragic news and mourned with the country. My heart still aches with memories of that day.
